Nancy Humphrey Case has been a freelance writer for many years, with articles and poems published in a wide range of regional and national publications, including The Christian Science Monitor and other Christian Science periodicals, Chicago Tribune, Design New England, Vermont Life, Vermont Magazine, Best of Burlington, Northern Woodlands, Equine Journal, Horse Illustrated, Highlights for Children, Cricket, Hobby Farm Home, and Grit.  She has been a contributing writer for Vermont Magazine since 2007.

    Ms. Case lives with her husband, Colyn, on a horse farm in Hyde Park, Vermont, where she rides and runs a children’s riding and horsemanship program in the summer and writes mainly during Hyde Park’s five- or six-month winter.   She has three grown children who have always brought the inspiration of love to the center of her life.
